Welcome to the official website of the NEDC Journal of North East Studies—a peer-reviewed academic and policy-oriented publication dedicated to addressing critical development challenges in North East Nigeria. This journal serves as a platform to disseminate high-quality research, promote policy dialogue, and support sustainable development, climate resilience, economic recovery, and social cohesion in the region.

The NEDC Journal of North East Studies is an academic initiative of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) and the Multisectoral Crisis Recovery Project (MCRP). The journal was established to provide a platform for the publication of research outcomes from the MCRP Research Programme and other knowledge-generation initiatives focused on the North East region of Nigeria.
